British Shintaido Daienshu 2021

We’ve learned so much from doing Shintaido via Zoom – and made so many new keiko friends from across the globe – that we’ve decided to invite online participants to our Daienshu as well!

The online portion of the event will be coordinated by Charles Burn. It will begin on Sunday June 20th and include preparation activities throughout the following week.

Online-only participants will be able to join some elements of our in-person Daienshu, thus bringing together all the threads of our practice: just one expression of Kizuna (threads), our overall theme for 2021…

Registration for online participants will open after April 25th, or earlier if the in-person event is sold out.

The fee to attend the online portion only will be £60.

All those attending the in-person event will be free to take part online during the week leading up to our arrival at Emerson College. This is included in the fee.

Those attending online only – which they can do from anywhere in the world – can expect a unique, virtual “window” into our British Shintaido Daienshu.
