Pacific Shintaido – Kangeiko 2005

January 15, 2005

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every day that begins at 12:00 am, repeating until January 17, 2005

Kangeiko, a cold weather study at the beginning of the new calendar year, is an opportunity to prepare oneself physically, emotionally and spiritually for 2005. The Shintaido Kangeiko curriculum traditionally includes kenjutsu, or sword technique.

This January, seven keiko will be offered; each providing a unique opportunity to practice Shintaido technique as well as to learn more about oneself, one’s relationship to others and one’s relationship to nature. Three keiko offer a choice between open hand Shintaido and Shintaido sword technique. Three keiko will be practiced together as a group. One evening keiko will blend Feldenkrais and Shintaido.

Join us at this special annual event – engage in the Shintaido community – experience our winter retreat on the mountain top!
