This year we return to the Mount Madonna Center nestled atop the Santa Cruz Mountains overlooking Monterey Bay. Located approximately 85 miles South of San Francisco, this tranquil setting boasts multiple housing options and 100% vegetarian cuisine.
We are most pleased to welcome from Japan our Guest Instructor, Shintaido General Instructor, Mr. Mitsuru Okada. Okada Sensei will teach the Advanced Workshop and be a Guest Examiner.
Attendees will study the Shintaido sword (bokutoh) and explore the theme Kokoro no Me, the Heart’s Eye, during keiko and throughout the gasshuku.
Formal examinations (optional) will be offered on Sunday
