Life Study with Master Ito
Shintaido Farm
For this event, Master Instructor H. F. Ito will present two main courses of study - Hikari to Tawamureru and Taimyo kata.
Hikari is translated as Playing with Light, and is a fantastic, freeing movement.
Taimyo kata translates literally as Great Mystery, but Master Ito has a personal translation of Amazing Grace. Taimyo is the basis for the Taimyo network, a worldwide connected group of practitioners who hope to help heal the world through the practice of this deep and powerful kata.

2008 Shintaido European Festival
Dear Friends,
We are very happy to announce the opening of registration for the next Quadrennial International Conference of the International Shintaido Federation to be held in Verbania from July 2nd to July 4th 2008. It will happen within the 2008 Shintaido European Festival (July 2nd to July 7th) and will be opened to the participation of junior instructors/ni-dan holders and above. It will be followed by a European Forum (assistant/ni-kyu and above) and by a two practices/one lecture seminar of Tenshin meditation by Aoki Sensei (open to general participation).

You may like to advertise the European Forum and the Tenshin Seminar for the participation of related members of your group. Summer Exams
NorthWest Shintaido Exchange
Shintaido of America examinations will be offered with Master Instructor H.F. Ito and Senior Instructor Lee Seaman as examiners.
Students may take exams up to first kyu in Bojutsu and Assistant in Open Hand.
For those looking to make a weekend event out of the exams, Ito Sensei is also teaching a Life Exericse workshop that weekend.
