NorthWest Shintaido Exchange – Earth & Sky: Introduction to Shintaido

Shintaido is a transformational mind and body art with strong roots in the Japanese martial arts. In Shintaido, you learn to do away with needless tension, expand your movement, and develop effective moves.
In this workshop, sponsored by Westcoast Shintaido and Northwest Shintaido Exchange, you will learn mind and body unification exercises, improve your connection with a partner and broaden the limits of your awareness.
In the morning session, you will learn fundamental Shintaido forms. In the afternoon you will use bo (6-foot wooden staff) to apply what you learned.
The cost for the workshop is $25 if you register by April 1, and $33 after that time.
